With three wins from the 19's Ressies and Seniors the ladies enjoyed the luncheon and the footy

Seniors: Bernards Blow Beauy Away in First Half

The game looked over early as the boys slammed on 7 goals to Beaumaris 2 in the first quarter and followed up with a strong second quarter to lead by 9 goals at half time. But Beauy with Barnes on fire fought back hard in the second half to keep the final margin to 52 points.

Tate Pearson and Cal Potter both booted five goals and youngsters Tommy Overman, Tom Caven and Alex Jolley again did well along with on ballers Joey Indomenico and Chris Liberatore. The good news was, no injuries and with some handy types running around in the Ressies and a couple more senior players due back after the break we have plenty of scope for improvement.

Ressies: Boys Put on a Show for the Girls

A big role up for the ladies day luncheon and the girls hadn’t finished entrée before the curtain raiser was all over. With Georgey Garth winning the ball in the centre, Ryan Schroder racking up stats and a handy target in Josh Madden down forward the boys were far too strong for Beauy. Tommy Godsell took a big step up, Chris “Chisel’ Davis starred after a week on the Kakoda track, Tommy Christie did well again and Kyle Dalmau continues to improve.

The boys got better as the game progressed kicking eight in the last qtr to smash a young Beauy side by 116 points setting up a top of the table clash with St Kevins after the break.

Warriors: Hordes Create Carnage at Caulfield

Following the Senior and Ressies raid on Caulfield last week, Snazza dispatched the Warrior legion back to the Heath to mop up the last of the Fielders. After a pre game video of ‘Zulu’ the horde attacked their foe in unrelenting swarms!

No mercy was shown as the hordes led by Jonny ‘Horrible’ Hellard, Liam ‘the Lion’ Cookson, Jezza ‘the Silent Assassin' Spiteri, Mick ‘the Irish Mawler’ Moloney, Paul ‘Gruesome’ Gilmour and Lawrance ‘the Surgeon’ Spinozzi cut a swathe through the Fielders before putting them to the sword by 126 points!

A week off to sharpen weapons before Snaz has the horde assemble at the Pit once more to face the boys from Bwyton. Our tip ... Bwyton boys should head for the hills (book that ski lodge) as the blood thirsty horde are planning a five chook kill in the warm up!

Report to come

Under 19(2): Pups put the bite on Roys

Pete van Meels pups started Ladies Day with a bang pulling off a terrific 52 point win over Fitzroy Reds at ‘the Pit’. Joey Pignataro led the way with 5 goals, Brenton Cooper showed the benefit of playing in the 19,1s produced a BOG performance, Josh Cunningham, Ben Beagley, Joel Cribbin and young Aitken all did well and young recruit from the Kimberlies WA, Johnny Purdie showed he will develop. Nick Hughes who has been a prime mover this season suffered a concussion during the game but will be ok after the break.

A great effort against older, bigger opponents ... Well done boys!
