The under 17's presentation night took place last night in front of a large crowd and Coach Mick Bevanda reflected back on the season.

"I believe that you have all developed your skills and attitude towards the game and that's what we have tried to re-enforce during the year. Hopefully you have walk away from this season a better footballer than when you arrive. We have experienced many situations during the year our great wins against Waverley and St Peter's, remember NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER. How important it is, whatever situation your may find yourself in, just do your best! Our Chelsea experience, the way you as young men, how you handled yourselves in a very difficult situation was a testament to your discipline as individuals and as a team. Our Grand Final lost to AJAX , what do you learn... you build the passion to succeed, you take that experience into ever game you play...the desire to do your best!"

The need, the want to be better by working hard and putting in the long yards. I encourage everyone to join COLTS program which starts on the 18th NOV.

My thanks firstly to all the boys!!
John Dickson The KIWI..... assistant coach/runner. Wayne Keenan .....the runner/ assistant coach.
Liam B the best trainer in Australia.
John Hughes for his support.
Craig Connelly and Gary McAllister for the Colts in 2010.
Others Ian Jowett, Kevin Bromley and all the parents who help with various roles during the year.

Taylor and Stefan who missed a large slice of the season with serious injury. They kicked every kick you kicked and rode the bumps and took the marks with you... and to Adam a boy who had the courage to play, knowing that he may have ended up in hospital very quickly.

A special mention to Ged Whelan thank you for doing one of the hardest jobs as team manager.
