Snaz Chalks Up 200th!

One of St Bernards favourite sons Stephen Iannazzo celebrated his 200th game in style on Saturday.

From the VAFA footy record in 2007 "St Bernards had a couple of blokes in Stephen Iannazzo and Justin Evans who have played a little bit of senior footy but have been out and out stars in the Reserves for years .. their the lifeblood of the club"

Well things haven’t changed much and it was great to see Snaz chalk up the 200 at 'the Pit' and play well in an important game. Along the way Snaz has won two Reserves Best and Fairests, played in the A Reserves Premiership side in 2003, captained the side and been an absolute stalwart for St Bernards OCFC.

They don’t come any more passionate than the Iannazzo clan and as he sets himself for yet another finals campaign all at the club salute Stephen on achieving a milestone that only 27 other players have managed in the clubs history .. well done Snaz!

Jesse Plays His 100th

Terrific to see the ever popular Jesse Creasey play his 100th game on Saturday. A star junior and Under 19 player Jesse burst into senior footy when he debuted against Beaumaris in 2008 and made an impact in that years finals series as a strong marking small forward.

Unfortunately Jesse has suffered a number of injuries in the past few years but he is as tough as nails and was always going to get back. Jesse will no doubt add a bit of potency to the Reserves forward set up before the year is out and at 25 Jesse still has his best footy ahead of him .. well done Jesse!
