Player Welfare is a high priority

Its about so much more than football - as part of the clubs on-going player welfare activities, we have a special presentation for our Football Academy Players.

Monday Nite Feb 1st: Football Academy Special Guest Coach/Mentor : Lance Picioane

Lance is a former Hawthorn AFL player, who in 2013 founded an organisation 'Love Me Love You' which aims to improve and empower the lives of young people with mental health, substance abuse issues and lifes hardships
Training from 4.45pm as usual, Lance addressing Academy players at 5.30pm.

Love Me Love You
Mission statement – Foster a positive change through awareness, education and acceptance to remove the stigma associated with mental health, drugs, alcohol, eating disorders and life hardships – empowering youths to reach their potential in life.
Love Me Love You, with the help of their community partners, is here to empower young people to take on the challenge of overcoming the stigma associated with mental health, drugs, alcohol, eating disorders and life hardships.

The club would like to pass on our special thanks to Lance for presenting to our young Academy Players, and we congratulate and aplaud Lance on the great work he is doing in the field of mental health.
