Vale Picca

St Bernard's FC is extremely saddened to lose one of its staunchest supporters when Pat (Picca) Wraight passed away in the early hours of 1st March. Pat commenced following the club in the 70's with his great mates Peter Nathan, Vin O'Neil, Godfrey Gilmour and Russell Lancashire. In the ensuing 40 years Pat missed very few games and was a dedicated, loyal follower of all club functions. He seldom missed a Thursday night at the clubrooms and could always be relied upon to have the knowledge of team selections on a Friday night. Pat's son Andrew attended the College and he is survived by Andrew and three daughters.

Pat also worked on the maintenance staff at the College for a number of years in the last decade.

He was a real St Bernard's man and a wonderful and quiet gentleman.
Pat fought a courageous fight with cancer over the past 18 months and may he Rest in Peace with his beloved wife Heather, who predeceased him.
