New Recruit at Wed Dec 21st : Christmas BBQ

15 December 2011

Time certainly does fly when you are having fun as a big year on and off the field for the football club rapidly draws to a close.

Time certainly does fly when you are having fun as a big year on and off the field for the football club rapidly draws to a close. The players have been putting in the hard yards in a demanding pre-season, as we leave no stone unturned in our endeavors to be super competitive across all team levels in the 2012 season. Meanwhile many supporters have been attending the regular friday night BBQ's, to meet greet and support, the colts football academy and the senior coaching and playing group.

This friday there will again be the regular colts/parents/supporters/seniors/coaches BBQ for those winding down. And importantly to reflect on and celebrate a strong year for the club, and to wish one and all the very best for Christmas the New Year and beyond, you are all cordially invited to our traditional Christmas BBQ.

When: Wednesday Dec 21st from 5.30pm onwards
Where: The Pavilion
Players: Seniors will train from 6pm to 7pm.
Senior coach: Chris Tankard has promised not to be a grinch and to hold a short, sharp, taper down session for the boys.

At this very busy time of year the Christmas BBQ is a great chance to step out of the rat race for a while, and enjoy a relaxing get together with the football club community.

Finally in late recruiting news the "back to bernards - get on board" message, has spread as far and wide as the North Pole.

We are pleased to announce that a new back pocket player is joining us, Santa Claus is expected to arrive at approx 7pm on wed 21st.

So big and small, young and young at heart, are all welcome to meet our new "recruit" at the St Bernard's Christmas BBQ.

Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year to one and all.
