New Chef & New Menu at MPC

It is with great pleasure that I introduce Nathan McKee our new Chef. Nathan joined the team on Tuesday 2nd February. His experience is vast for someone so young. He started his career at the Grand Hotel in Mildura as an apprentice. The past 4 years has seen him Head Chef at the Kent Hotel in Carlton, and Plough Hotel in Footscray.

Nathan believes fresh is best, for example, our fish and chips currently is market fresh Blue Grenadier, a delicious deep water fish. We would like all members to try Nathan’s food. All members who purchase a main meal will receive 500 bonus points (conditions apply, not in conjunction with any other food offer and available until 27th February 2016).

The Bistro is open Tuesday to Friday, lunch 12pm – 2.30pm, and Dinner Tuesday to Saturday 5.30 – 8.30pm. I recommend booking on 9326 1799.

Offers for February and March:

Tuesday Parma Night - $13 for members, including a drink.

Thursday Steak Night - $16 for members. 250g grain geed Porterhouse steak served with chips and salad.

We also have a magnificent senior’s meal deal every lunchtime. $15 for a two course meal, including a drink. Outstanding value.

Two of Josie favourite menu item, are the Oysters with white peach salsa followed by the Eton mess dessert with spiced berry compote, vanilla ice cream & honeycomb.

Starting Monday the 22nd February is our “Get Eggcited” Easter promotion. There are 20 Easter hampers to be won. Entry is via your loyalty card, see staff for full details.
