"Mark Riley to Coach St BernardsFC in 2018" - the club is delighted announce that we have retained the services of Mark Riley as senior coach for 2018. Marks experience, dedication, leadership and passion stamp him as the outstanding person for this pivotal role.

Mark immediately accepted this mandate and commented as follows - St Bernards is a fantastic community football club and a wonderful positive environment for young men to play football, learn life skills and develop future friendships and networks.
I am delighted that the president and committee asked me to continue, as there is still so much improvement in our group. We showed that our best was very good and in the end we fell one kick short of going to A grade and playing in a grand final, however there is no prize for 3rd and we start again in early December in our pursuit of excellence. It will be shoulder to the wheel and it will be hard work but it will be enjoyable to be a part of.
I'm sure if we work very hard on player retention and recruitment and get further commitment and professionalism from the entire playing group then real success will come our way sooner rather than later."

We wish Mark "bomber" Riley and all involved in our football department and playing list all the best for another exciting season in 2018.The Committee.
