Justin Evans chalks up 250 games

17 July 2012

Congratulations to one of St Bernards favourite sons Justin ‘Buckets’ Evans who chalks up his 250th game this week at 'the Snakepit'.

Justin will become only the 10th player in St Bernards history to achieve the feat which is great testimony to his durability and his commitment to the club.

Justin won the Reserves B&F in 2002 and played in the A Grade Reserves Premiership side in 2003 before making his senior debut in 2004.

From the VAFA footy record in 2007 .. "St Bernards had a couple of blokes in Stephen Iannazzo and Justin Evans who have played a little bit of senior footy but have been out and out stars in A Grade Reserves for years .. they’re the lifeblood of the club"

While his job as a lawyer keeps him busy Justin is still starring in the Thirds every week and providing leadership to the young blokes coming through the ranks.

All at St Bernards salute Justin on a fantastic effort and look forward to seeing him adding to his remarkable tally. Well done Evo!
