Andrew Johnston joins the club as Senior Coaching assistant and Director of Coaching for Junior Club.

The Club has been very fortunate to secure a high calibre coach to fill the role left, when Simon Atkins stepped down post season. Andrew has been involved in elite AFL football for last 17 years.

Involved with three AFL clubs-Essendon- Fitzroy and more recently the Gold Coast SUNS.

TAC Cup Calder Cannons Head coach the last three years.

Level 3 High Performance Coach

Currently is Little Athletics Australia Development and Projects Manager

We also take this opportunity to pass on special thank Simon Atkins on 6 outstanding years of senior assistant/development coaching at the club, including the 2015 senior flag, and on mutliple premierships coaching the college team. Simon is taking a well earned break from Coaching to spend more time with his young family, however he has indicated he will be dropping into the club to see a number of games and catchup with friends and club supporters.

Finally a big St BernardsFC welcome to Andrew Johnston, we all look forward to working with such a motivated and dedicated elite coach, as the club seeks to provide the best and most progressive football development program possible.

The Committee.
