Perrett refuses to declare

19 February 2014

Michael Perrett, St Bernards Old Collegians Football Club's Patron, won't have much time to think about his beloved St Bernards over the next month.

Michael ventures into representing Victoria in the Over 70s Cricket Carnival in Tasmania.

It's been a long haul for Michael since his first senior cricket match for St Bernards Old Collegians Cricket Club in 1969. While Michael's talent and skills insured his selection we realise he only just qualified by the skin of his teeth.

With a visit to the BOAG's Brewery and a compulsory special race meeting included the carnival is obviously not simply about cricket. I don't think a visit to the Cadbury Factory is on the agenda however.

The Club wish Michael all the best and hopefully he will ignore any calls for sharp singles.
Of course Joy will be there to cheer Michael on throughout the carnival and elsewhere.
