2016 Committee Announced at AGM

The Club held its AGM on tuesday night. Reports on our very strong and rewarding 2015 season were delivered by President Patrick Crabb, Junior President Paul Flynn and Treasurer Lauren Corstens.

The key message was one of sincere thanks to all involved at the club, from Auskick, through the Junior Club and the Seniors. Literally hundreds of volunteers enable the club to run well off field, while our hard working and dedicated coaches and players performed admirably onfield. When a large group of focussed people all play their respective roles, it becomes a very positive and powerful organisational force, resulting in a rewarding experience for all concerned.

Highlights included two junior team premierships, u/19 teams reaching finals, and capped off by the Senior Team Premier Division Premiership.

Special thanks to Junior President Paul Flynn on a two year job very well done, he hands the reins over to Adrian Fuller in that role for 2016.

As per previous website story three new Life Members were announced. Ben Hogan, Justin Evans and Vinnie McGuire all of whom have and continue to make an outstanding contribution to the club.

Office bearers were elected as follows :

President - Patrick Crabb
Secretary - James Del Zoppo
Treasurer (secondee) - Lauren Corstens
Football Director - Craig Connelly
School Representative - Matt Mulkearns
Player Representative - Justin Evans
Junior President - Adrian Fuller
General Committee Members - Terry Bentick, John Raffle and Vinnie McGuire.

Plans for 2016 are well underway, with majority of coaching positions in place, plus new ice baths have been purchased and construction of new coaches boxes and interchange on Oval One is planned. Sponsorship Drive is well underway with all major sponsors recommitting for 2016, of course we always happy to welcome more sponsors to the club should you be aware of any interested local business's.

Reminder that this friday from 5.30pm, the club is holding its Christmas BBQ and all are welcome at the Snakepit for a catchup before the holiday season.

Finally we would like to wish all involved at the club a very Merry Christmas and a very safe and Happy New Year, with your families and friends.

We look forward to seeing you all again in 2016, for another year of fun, football and frienship at St BernardsFC !.
